Method Overview

Monitoring Checklist is a product auditing method that helps product owners to evaluate and monitor the ethical impact of their shipped product on their users.

Getting Started

Materials: Post-it notes, pens, product description, monitoring checklist from the method website

Participants: Team (2 – 5 participants)

Steps: (from the Design Ethically website)

  1. Determine the product to be monitored
  2. Determine the essential qualities of an ethical product in the context of the product being reviewed.
  3. Gather the team and review the product by following the questions from the checklist.
