The Ethics and Inclusion Framework is a technique developed to assist practitioners to mitigate potential adverse implications that might arise from people using their product. This objective can be achieved by conducting analysis across multiple dimensions including analyzing the potential population diversity and negative outcomes that might impact those populations.

Steps

  1. Determine a product idea
  2. Create a list of personas for the product, and considering the population diversity of the users
  3. Select a particular ethical issue to focus on or examine the degree of inclusion of the product or service.
  4. Assess the potential negative impact the product or service might have on the various user categories.
